SC on Sanitary Napkin चीफ जस्टिस डीवाई चंद्रचूड़, जस्टिस पीएस नरसिम्हा और जस्टिस जेबी पारदीवाला की बेंच ने एक बड़ा फैसला सुनाया है। अदालत में जया ठाकुर ने जनहित याचिका दी है जिसके बाद अदालत ने राज्य सरकारों को छात्राओं की सुरक्षा और साफ-सफाई का इंतजाम करने के लिए भी कहा है। इसके अलावा स्कूलों में छात्राओं के लिए माहवारी (पीरियड्स) के दौरान स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए मानक आदर्श प्रक्रिया (SOP) और प्रबंधन का नैशनल मॉडल विकसित करने को भी कहा है।

  • SC on Sanitary Napkin सुप्रीम कोर्ट ने अहम फैसला सुनाते हुए सभी स्कूलों और शिक्षण संस्थानों को एक खास निर्देश दिया है। इस निर्देश के तहत इन सभी को वहां पढ़ने वाली छात्राओं को मुफ्त सैनिटरी पैड देने के लिए कहा गया है। इसके लिए पैड्स के लिए वेंडिंग मशीन लगाने से लेकर पैड्स के निस्तारण के लिए समुचित व्यवस्था करनी होगी। यह आदेश उन सभी स्कूलों के लिए है जहां पर अपर प्राइमरी/सेकेंडरी/हायर सेकेंडरी कक्षाओं में छात्राएं पढ़ती हैं।

  • SC on Sanitary Napkin अदालत ने माहवारी के दौरान स्वच्छता की अहमियत को एक बड़ा मुद्दा बताते हुए कहा कि केंद्र सरकार को चाहिए कि वह सभी पक्षकारों को शामिल कर देश के बनाए। इसके लिए जो भी जरूरी डेटा हो, वह तमाम राज्यों और केंद्र शासित प्रदेशों से जुटाया जाए। बेंच ने इस बात पर भी गौर किया कि केंद्रीय स्वास्थ्य परिवार कल्याण मंत्रालय, शिक्षा मंत्रालय और जल शक्ति मंत्रालयों में माहवारी के दौरान स्वच्छता सुनिश्चित करने के लिए योजनाएं हैं। अदालत ने सरकार से जुलाई अंत तक स्टेटस रिपोर्ट मांगी है।
