Smart City Reality आखिर कब तक  देहरादून की जनता बदहाल ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था से निजात पाएगी ? कब तक दूनवासी स्मार्ट सिटी के नाम पर लंबे जाम से हलकान रहेंगे ? टूटी सड़क , अव्यवस्थित कंस्ट्रक्शन कब सुधरेंगे और सुस्त अफ़सर कब जागेंगे ? ये वो सवाल हैं जो हर देहरादून वासी अपनी सरकार से पूछना चाहता है लेकिन वो लाचार है , लेकिन अब उन्हें जल्द इसका जवाब मिल जायेगा क्योंकि सीधे सरकार तक उनकी  समस्याओं और अनसुने हो रहे  सवालों की फेहरिस्त पहुंच गई है जिसको पहुँचाया है वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस लीडर सूर्यकांत धस्माना और उनकी टीम ने 
Smart City Reality दूनवासियों को स्मार्ट सिटी प्रोजेक्ट से हो रही रोजाना की दुश्वारियों और तमाम आज जन की समस्याओ से जुड़े सुलगते सवालों का जवाब ढूंढने निकले वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष और सामाजिक कार्यकर्ता सूर्यकांत धस्माना और पहुंच गए सीधे अपने मित्र और सूबे के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी के सामने …. यूं तो पहले भी कई बार जनहित के मुद्दों पर उत्तराखंड की सियासत के इस अनुभवी शख्सियत ने तीखे सवाल सीधे सरकार से किये हैं लेकिन इस बार मुद्दा पूरे शहर के सुकून और अधिकार का था लिहाजा धस्माना का धामी के सामने रूबरू होकर जवाब माँगा तो खुद मुख्यमंत्री भी सहमत दिखे और जल्द कार्यवाही का भरोसा भी दे दिया

Smart City Reality स्मार्ट सिटी के नाम पर पिछले चार वर्षों से खुदे पड़े शहर की बदहाल सड़कों , ध्वस्त पड़े ट्रैफिक प्लान के कारण शहर भर में जाम से परेशान दून वासियों की पीड़ा को लेकर एआईसीसी सदस्य एवं उत्तराखंड प्रदेश कांग्रेस कमेटी के वरिष्ठ उपाध्यक्ष सूर्यकांत धस्माना ने आज राज्य के मुख्यमंत्री पुष्कर सिंह धामी से मुलाकात कर उनसे दून की जनता को ध्वस्त पड़ी ट्रैफिक व्यवस्था व बदहाल सड़कों की समस्या से छुटकारा दिलाने के लिए तत्काल कार्यवाही करने की मांग की।

Smart City Reality  वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस लीडर धस्माना ने मुख्यमंत्री से कहा कि जब से देहरादून में स्मार्ट सिटी का काम शुरू हुआ तब से पूरे महनागर को बेतरतीब बिना प्लानिंग के खोद दिया गया , देहरादून की मुख्य सड़कों के अलावा आंतरिक सड़कों को भी लंबे समय से खोद कर छोड़ दिया गया। उन्होंने कहा कि राजपुर रोड से यूकेलिपिटिक्स रोड को दो वर्षों तक खोद कर जो काम किया गया उससे बेनी बाज़ार के चौराहे को संकरा कर दिया गया और क्रॉस रोड मॉल के सामने सड़क के बीच में खम्बा हटाने जैसा मामूली काम तीन वर्षों में नहीं किया जा सका जिसके कारण अनावश्यक रूप से वहां ट्रैफिक जाम होता है।
Smart City Reality सियासी मैदान में एक दूसरे के विरोधी धस्माना और सीएम धामी के बीच व्यक्तिगत मित्रता काफी पुरानी है लिहाजा ये मुलाकात भी किसी औपचारिक वार्ता जैसी न होकर एक संवेदनशील मुद्दे पर दो गंभीर वरिष्ठ लीडरों की चिंतन से कम न थी।  उत्तराखंड की राजनीति में जनहित के मुद्दों पर आक्रामक राजनीति के लिए अपने खास तेवर के लिए मशहूर कांग्रेसी नेता सूर्यकांत धस्माना ने शहर की मौजूदा हक़ीक़त से सरकार को रूबरू कराते हुए अनेक चौराहों व सड़कों का उदाहरण देते हुए मुख्यमंत्री धामी को बताया कि किस तरह स्मार्ट सिटी के अधिकारियों की छोटी छोटी लापरवाही के कारण शहर में ट्रैफिक जाम की बड़ी समस्या बन चुकी है। 
Smart City Reality उन्होंने शहर के मुख्य मार्गों व आंतरिक मार्गों की खस्ता हालत पर भी मुख्यमंत्री का ध्यान आकर्षित किया । मुख्यमंत्री धामी ने डेलिगेशन के साथ आये वरिष्ठ कांग्रेस उपाध्यक्ष सूर्यकांत धस्माना की चिंता को वाजिब बताते हुए इन दोनों समस्याओं पर तत्काल प्रभावी कार्यवाही का आश्वासन दिया।आपको बता दें कि सूर्यकांत धस्माना के साथ मुख्यमंत्री धामी से मुलाकात करने वालों में प्रदेश कांग्रेस के पूर्व सचिव देवेंद्र सिंह बुटोला व प्रवीण कश्यप मौजूद रहे।
