Chauki mein Pathshala छोटे बच्चों के दिलो दिमाग से पुलिस का डर निकालने के लिए पुलिस चौकी में पाठशाला चलाई जा रही है।  इस अनोखी पाठशाला में पढ़ रहे बच्चे अब खाकी वर्दी के प्रति इतने फ्रेंडली हो गए है कि उनसे डरने की बजाय उनके सामने तरह-तरह की फरमाइशें रखते है। कोई बच्चा आइसक्रीम खिलाने के लिए कहता है तो कोई पिकनिक पर ले जाने की डिमांड रखता है। दिल्ली पुलिस की इस अनूठी पहल से बच्चों के परिजन भी बहुत खुश हैं। इलाके के लोग इसका पूरा श्रेय सीमापुरी थाने के एसएचओ को देते हैं।

Chauki mein Pathshala सीमापुरी ई-ब्लॉक में ईदगाह के पीछे आसपास के लोगों ने अपना कबाड़ इकट्ठा किया हुआ था। जब इस जगह पर इलाके के छोटे बच्चों के लिए स्कूल शुरू करने की बात चली तो लोगों ने अपनी मर्जी से इस जगह को खाली कर दिया। इसके बाद पुलिस ने इस जगह पर एक बड़ा सा कमरा तैयार कराया। जब बात स्कूल के नामकरण की आई तो इलाके के लोगों ने ही इसका नाम ‘चौकी में पाठशाला’ रखने के लिए कहा। शाहदरा डिस्ट्रिक्ट के पुलिस अधिकारियों को भी यह नाम बहुत पसंद आया। शुरुआत 10-15 बच्चों से हुई, लेकिन देखते ही देखते बच्चों की संख्या बढ़ती चली गई। इस समय इस पाठशाला में 70 बच्चे पढ़ाई कर रहे हैं।

Chauki mein Pathshala सीमापुरी थाने के एसचओ ने मीडिया को बताया कि कमरा तैयार होने के बाद पहली जरूरत किताबों और बेंचों की आई। इसके लिए उन्होंने अपने इलाके के छह प्राइवेट स्कूलों से संपर्क किया। इन स्कूलों से अभी तक 10,000 से अधिक किताबें मिल चुकी हैं। एक स्कूल ने बेंच की व्यवस्था की। कुछ बच्चों को टैब भी दिए गए हैं। बच्चों को पढ़ाने के लिए कई सामाजिक संस्थाएं भी सहयोग कर रही हैं।

Chauki mein Pathshala एक दिन एसएचओ घूमते हुए बच्चों के बीच पहुंचे तो बच्चों ने कहा अंकल बहुत गर्मी लग रही है। कुछ ही दिनों में बिजली कनेक्शन कराने के साथ-साथ पाठशाला में छह पंखे लगवा दिए गए। एचएचओ ने बताया कि पाठशाला शुरू हुए कुछ ही दिन हुए थे कि किसी ने पाठशाला में रखी किताबें चोरी कर लीं। चोरी की घटना को रोकने के लिए चौकी को दोनों तरफ से लोहे के जाल से कवर किया गया। सीमापुरी एफ-ब्लॉक में भी चौकी में पाठशाला चलाई जा रही है। इस पाठशाला में 150 से अधिक बच्चे पढ़ते हैं। इसमें अभी बिजली कनेक्शन के अलावा किताबों के लिए रैक आदि बननी बाकी है।
